CEO / Executive Producer
Xanto
Xanto founded XANTO Studios as an artist first. He began by documenting his own life, then turned his camera to other people’s stories, and has since worked as Director of Photography on numerous films.
He built the studio on a simple belief: artists do their best work alongside other artists. XANTO exists to give them the space, the craft and the support to make work that carries intention.
MUSIC DIRECTOR / COMPOSER
Ngiam
Ngiam Teo is XANTO’s music director and composer, a Taiwanese-born musician and conductor working across film scoring, contemporary composition and game music. Self-taught before graduating from LASALLE College of the Arts with a BA (Hons) in Music, he has scored award-winning films and writes music that carries the atmosphere and emotion of a story.
His practice also reaches into game design, filmmaking and visual art, often narrative-driven, with touches of minimalism and surreal abstraction. At XANTO, he brings that sensibility to the studio’s films.
HEAD OF TECH / LIGHTING DIRECTOR
Meng Han
Meng Han is a filmmaker, and XANTO’s lighting director and head of the tech department. He shapes the mood and atmosphere of each scene through lighting design, with close attention to detail and a collaborative spirit.
For him, lighting exists to serve the story and the artist behind it, so every scene leaves a lasting impression.
SOUND RECORDIST
Kerri
Kerri is a sound recordist working across documentary, television and short film. Since 2015 she has worked on location as both sound recordist and boom operator, on award-winning productions including Shirkers.
At XANTO, she gives the filmmakers she works with clean, dependable sound to build on, so their vision reaches the screen intact.
